Cookies Policy
This policy explains how Cogniv uses cookies and similar technologies on cogniv.co.in.
Effective date: April 7, 2026
Do we use cookies?
We do not set advertising cookies or track you across sites. We use browser storage for analytics and to keep you signed in, as described below.
Essential cookies and similar technologies
Like most websites, our hosting and security infrastructure may rely on essential technologies to:
- Deliver site content reliably
- Protect against abuse and attacks
- Maintain basic functionality
Analytics and browser storage
We do not use advertising cookies. To understand how the site is used, we use:
- Our own analytics. A random visitor ID is kept in your browser's local storage (
cogniv_visitor_id) and a per-visit ID in session storage (cogniv_session_id). They are sent with page views and download clicks, along with the city and country derived from your IP address. They are not used to track you on other sites. - Vercel Web Analytics. Our hosting provider's privacy-friendly page analytics, which does not use cookies.
- Sign-in tokens. When you sign in, your session tokens are stored in local storage so you stay signed in. Signing out or deleting your account removes them.
See our Privacy Policy for details.
How to control cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings (for example, blocking or deleting cookies). Note that blocking certain cookies may impact site functionality.
